Teknik melukis diatas air

Pernahkan mendengar ungkapan, ''Ibarat melukis di atas air'' yang artinya sesuatu itu mustahil dilakukan. Kalau dibayangkan saja, memang kelihatannya mustahil.

Eiiiiiiits........., jangan berkecil hati dulu!! Karena zaman sudah mulai berubah, hal yang tadinya mustahil kini menjadi tidak mustahil, alias bisa dibuktikan..

Teknik melukis dalam air sebenarnya sudah ditemukan semenjak 15 abad yang lalu, mereka adalah para seniman arab yang ahli dalam membuat kaligrafi. Nah, baru-baru ini di China, seorang seniman telah mendemokan kembali tentang bagaimana melukis dalam air. Seniman asal China, Zhu Shenghi, dari Xi'an, Provinsi Shaanxi China, kemudian mengembangkan cara unik yaitu melukis di atas air.

Caranya cukup sederhana, yakni dengan menggunakan alat halus dan nafta (sejenis bahan kimia), dia melukis segala macam bentuk yang aduhai di permukaan air, tetapi air tidak sebenarnya kanvas nyata. Setelah dia selesai mendesain lukisan, Zhu menempatkan selembar kertas yang menyerap cat dari permukaan air, sehingga menjadi sebuah lukisan biasa tanpa tersentuh oleh peralatan melukis.

Kamera tidak hanya jadi alat yang merekam momen penting, tetapi juga dapat digunakan untuk melukis. Biasanya, fotografer beraliran fine art yang gemar bereksperimen dengan kameranya. 

Salah satu fotografer yang mulai hype adalah Christy Lee Rogers. Selain cantik, ia dengan kreatif menghasilkan foto dengan bentuk baru, dengan bantuan medium air. Hasilnya, kita seolah melihat lukisan bergaya baroque.

Baroque, gaya seni yang berkembang di abad ke-17 menjadi salah satu rujukan penting bagi para seniman sekarang ini. Pada seni lukis, gaya baroque dicirikan dengan warna yang dramatis dan intensitas cahaya sebagai perlambang gairah.

Mudahnya, kita bisa melihat lukisan jenis ini pada gereja-gereja dari tahun 1600-an. Atau coba telusuri karya-karya Peter Paul Rubens, pelukis gaya baroque yang terkenal denga karya penuh sentuhan sensual.

Kembali pada Christy, fotografer asal Hawaii ini menggunakan pembiasan cahaya ke dalam air, lalu merekam dengan kameranya. Mata seorang awam mungkin tak menduga kalau karyanya adalah hasil jepretan kamera, bukan sapuan kuas penuh warna.

Mobil-mobil yang terinspirasi Indonesia

Kekayaan alam Indonesia semakin memukau banyak orang, baik dari bangsa sendiri maupun manca negara. Kedahsayatannya menimbulkan banyak inspirasi, termasuk bagi perancang di dunia otomotif. Hasilnya, banyak mobil baru yang lahir karena Indonesia.

Di ajang Indonesia 20th International Motor Show (IIMS) terpampang sebuah Jeep dari produsen Wrangler Sport, dan dinamai Jeep Mountain. Kendaraan ini dibuat karena terinspirasi dengan Puncak Jaya Wijaya di Papua. Jika diperhatikan dengan seksama, di bawah grafir "MOUNTAIN" menunjukkan koordinat garis lintang dan garis bujur Pegunungan Jaya Wijaya. 

"Makna penghormatan untuk Indonesia semakin kuat ketika peta NKRI juga tergrafir di decal berikut lambang target Pulau Papua," papar Rieva Muchsin, Chief Marketing Officer PT Garansindo Inter Global, perusahaan pemegang merek Jeep, Chrysler, dan Dodge di Indonesia seperti dikutip dari Seputar Indonesia.

Jeep juga pernah merilis Jeep Bromo pada Desember 2011 silam, yang menandakan alam di Indonesia jadi sumber ide yang tak pernah habis. Selain Jeep, Gunung Bromo pun menginspirasi BMW 760Li Individual Bromo. Mobil ini didesain oleh perancang asal Indonesia, Didit Hadiprasetyo.

Produsen Porsche juga ikut membuat produk baru mengambil nama raja hutan, yakni Porsche Macan. Dan yang terakhir, Lamborghini meluncurkan concept car yang terinspirasi pada karapan sapi di Madura, hingga jadilah produk baru: Lamborghini Madura Concept.

Alasan Kekasih Masih Mengirim SMS

Oke, hubungan Anda dan si dia sudah berakhir. Tapi sang mantan masih saja mengirimkan pesan teks ke ponsel Anda; lewat SMS maupun Blackberry Messenger (BBM). Hal yang dibicarakan pun tidak terlalu penting, misalnya menanyakan keadaan atau apa yang sedang Anda lakukan.

Anda pun bertanya-tanya, apa maksudnya mengirimkan pesan teks setelah putus?  Ada beberapa kemungkinan, yang salah satunya mungkin sesuai dengan kondisi Anda saat ini. 

 1. Perasaan dan Emosi Tidak Hilang Begitu Saja

Ikatan emosional yang telah terjalin lama dan intens saat masih berhubungan, tidak bisa hilang segera setelah kekasih memutusnya. Perasaan cinta atau sayang mungkin masih tertinggal beberapa bulan bahkan tahunan setelah hubungan berakhir.

2. Merindukan Kebersamaan

Tsunami

Masyarakat Indonesia dalam tahun-tahun belakangan ini menjadi semakin akrab dengan istilah tsunami, terutama pasca peristiwa bencana tsunami Aceh dan Sumatera Utara di akhir tahun 2004. Meski sesungguhnya peristiwa hantaman tsunami tersebut bukanlah yang pertama terjadi di Indonesia, namun dahsyatnya dampak yang ditimbulkan bencana alam tersebut (korban jiwa mencapai lebih dari 250.000 jiwa belum lagi kerugian materil dan psikis yang tak terhitung lagi jumlahnya) telah menorehkan trauma yang begitu mendalam bukan saja bagi masyarakat Aceh dan Sumut yang pada saat itu mengalami secara langsung, namun juga seluruh masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya.

Bagaimanapun juga harus diakui, Indonesia yang dikenal memiliki potensi sumber daya alam yang melimpah ternyata menyimpan potensi bencana alam yang “melimpah” pula. Terkait dengan tsunami, menurut Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi, setidaknya ada 21 wilayah rawan terkena bencana tersebut di Indonesia, antara lain: Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, Bengkulu, Lampung-Banten, Jawa Tengah Bagian Selatan, Jawa Timur Bagian Selatan, Bali, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Sulawesi Utara, Sulawesi Tengah, Sulawesi Selatan, Maluku Utara, Maluku Selatan, Biak-Yapen, Balikpapan, Sekurau, Palu, Talaud, Kendari.

Apakah Tsunami Itu?

Tsunami adalah serangkaian gelombang atau ombak yang ditimbulkan oleh perpindahan massa air dalam skala yang relatif sangat besar. Tsunami umumnya terjadi di laut atau samudera, di mana gelombang dapat bergerak dalam kecepatan mencapai 500 km/jam bahkan lebih dengan tinggi gelombang yang dapat mencapai hingga puluhan meter.

Istilah tsunami sendiri berasal dari Bahasa Jepang “tsu” yang berarti pelabuhan dan “nami” yang artinya gelombang. Istilah ini diberikan oleh kaum nelayan di Jepang. Ketika pulang melaut seringkali mereka menjumpai keadaan pelabuhan dan area di sekitarnya telah porak-poranda akibat terjangan gelombang laut, padahal mereka sendiri tidak pernah menyadarinya saat sedang berada di tengah laut. Oleh karena itu mereka berasumsi bahwa gelombang besar tersebut hanya terjadi di pelabuhan, sehingga dinamakan “tsunami” atau ombak pelabuhan.

Mulanya tsunami diasosiasikan dengan gelombang pasang (tidal waves), padahal meski besar kecilnya dampak tsunami terhadap wilayah di sepanjang garis pantai dipengaruhi oleh ketinggian pasang surut muka air laut, namun mekanisme terjadinya tsunami tidak memiliki kaitan sama sekali dengan peristiwa pasang surutnya air laut. Beberapa ilmuwan sempat pula menamai tsunami dengan istilah “gelombang seismik lautan” (seismic sea waves), akan tetapi istilah tersebut juga dapat dikatakan kurang tepat, mengingat tsunami tidak selalu berkaitan dengan mekanisme seismik atau kegempaan, melainkan dapat pula dihasilkan oleh penyebab yang bersifat non-seismik, seperti tanah longsor (baik di bawah maupun di atas permukaan laut), vulkanisme dan jatuhan meteorit, meski keduanya dapat dikatakan sangat jarang terjadi.
Secara umum, ada 4 (empat) penyebab utama yang dapat mencetuskan gelombang tsunami, di antaranya:

1. Tektonisme bawah laut
2. Erupsi gunungapi bawah laut 
3. Tanah longsor di bawah atau di atas permukaan laut 
4. Jatuhan material luar angkasa (meteor)

Dari keempat poin di atas, gempa bumi merupakan yang paling sering menyebabkan tsunami. Di mana 90% tsunami yang pernah terjadi di muka bumi ini dipicu oleh aktivitas tektonisme bawah laut ini. Tektonisme bawah laut dapat menghasilkan pergerakan kerak bumi di bawah laut secara tiba-tiba –dapat berupa pengangkatan (uplift) atau penurunan (subsidence) lantai samudera— yang mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan kondisi kesetimbangan air yang berada di atasnya. Akibatnya terbentuklah gelombang sebagai akibat dari perpindahan massa air dalam skala yang sangat besar, yang bergerak di bawah pengaruh gravitasi dengan tujuan akhir untuk mencapai kondisi kesetimbangannya kembali.

Untuk tsunami yang dicetuskan oleh tektonisme, sejumlah syarat harus dipenuhi, di antaranya:

1. Pusat gempa (hiposentrum) berada di dasar laut dengan kedalaman kurang dari 60 km. 
2. Magnitudo gempa harus melebihi batas minimal sesuai dengan Persamaan Iida, M = 6.42 + 0.01 H, di mana H = kedalaman hiposenter. Dengan demikian paling tidak magnitude gempa harus sedikit di atas 6.42 skala Richter. 
3. Deformasi yang mengakibatkan gempa di dasar laut, mekanisme pergerakannya vertikal (dip-slip), seperti patahan naik (thrust fault) atau patahan normal (normal fault).

Letusan gunungapi bawah laut dapat menciptakan gaya yang mengakibatkan pengangkatan kolom air sehingga menghasilkan tsunami. Pada tahun 1883 letusan gunungapi Krakatau di Selat Sunda menciptakan gelombang tsunami yang dahsyat. Mengakibatkan 36.000 korban jiwa, ribuan kapal tenggelam dan beberapa pula kecil hilang.

Longsoran di bawah laut yang biasanya merupakan dampak ikutan dari gempa bumi sebagaimana pula jatuhan material erupsi gunungapi di bawah laut dapat mencetuskan gelombang tsunami akibat terganggunya kesetimbangan posisi air.

Jatuhan material luar angkasa juga dapat menyebabkan tsunami, seperti halnya longsoran tebing di atas permukaan laut. Agak berbeda dengan penyebab lainnya, terbentuknya tsunami dalam hal ini disebabkan oleh tabrakan dari atas permukaan yang mengganggu kesetimbangan air. Sebagai gambaran, film produksi Hollywood yang berjudul “Deep Impact” kurang lebih memperlihatkan mekanisme terjadinya tsunami akibat hantaman asteroid ke dalam samudera.
